Adventure in Honduran Rainforest:

Honduras may not be the name you most associate with coffee, but that rich aroma wafting from the cafes in Tegucigalpa, Honduras’ bustling capital, says there’s some serious Arabica brewing - born from cherries harvested from the rainforest. If it’s sun and sand you want, Honduras boasts two coasts. Just dial in Caribbean hot or Pacific fan oven.

But it’s La Tigra National Park that will really make your trip. This protected rainforest paradise located at an altitude of 2270m is home to toucans, monkeys and the resplendent quetzal. If you’re really lucky, you’ll also see ocelot, once hunted to near extinction, but thankfully protected in the park (and parked on our pack).
