Schools for Africa
Schools for Africa is a fundraising organisation whose aim is to raise money to build much needed schools in rural Africa. It works with totally transparent non- governmental organisations that have close relationships with local communities. This ensures that any school building projects receive the community’s full support.
Percol’s first project as part of its Children in Africa initiative is to build a school in Buh, North Western Cameroon where numbers have dwindled by half over the last few years, because the school building is in such a severe state of disrepair that parents are afraid for their children’s safety and are keeping them at home.
Percol needs to raise £10,000 to complete this project. To get the ball rolling, Percol has already donated £1000.
When you buy any product from the Percol Fairtrade African range you will help raise the £10,000 – you can see below how much we have raised so far!
100% of the funds raised will go directly to building schools in Cameroon.
