The Perfect Award-Winning Christmas Coffee
If you want the most the delicious food this Christmas, but don’t want to over-indulge then Percol’s award-winning Fairtrade Decaffeinated Colombia ground coffee is for you.
A rich, smooth after-dinner drink, Percol Fairtrade Decaffeinated Colombia coffee has all the complexity of flavour characterised by the Percol range without the caffeine, making it the perfect solution for those who want the taste and experience of a coffee with Christmas dinner without the lift.
Made from the finest Arabica beans, Percol Decaffeinated Colombia is available in three convenient varieties to suit any Christmas celebration. For those who enjoy the rich flavour and strength of a ground coffee, try Percol Fairtrade Decaffeinated Colombia Ground in your cafetiere or coffee machine. This is available in a 250g pack if you’re entertaining the whole family or in a new, convenient 57g (8 cup) pack for smaller parties - this variety is measured perfectly for use in a one litre cafetiere. If you’re short on time, Percol Fairtrade Decaffeinated Colombia instant will provide the same smooth, full bodied flavour of the ground coffee in moments.
Taste expert, Angela Mount says: “This is absolutely top class for a decaffeinated coffee — smooth, rich, and warming with enough character to hit the after-dinner spot.
Angela continues: “On the nose this is deep, moreish and smooth, with hints of nuts and cocoa. The taste is smooth, with warm, soft toffee flavours balanced with a citrus edge and a hint of cinnamon.”
Decaffeinated using only natural elements, Percol’s decaffeinated range consists of single origin Fairtrade coffee, sourced from Fairtrade coops in the central and southwest of Colombia.
Percol’s Fairtrade Decaffeinated Colombia coffee is now officially the hottest decaffeinated coffee on the supermarket shelves. It was the only decaffeinated coffee to win a Great Taste award this year as will as being voted the best decaffeinated coffee by BBC Good Food Magazine in the spring. The magazine described Percol’s Decaffeinated Colombia as: “… so good many of our tasters didn’t realise it was decaffeinated.”
